Workshop Presenters: Meet the Experts
Pam Jones is the Co-Founder of Sweet Dreams Infant Care. Sweet Dreams is the Premier Infant Care agency offering Postpartum education and support. Pam is Registered Nurse with over 20 years of Mother Baby experience. Pam has specialized in Post-Partum, Lactation, and Neonatal care in the top Chicago land hospitals. Pam is a Lactation Counselor and Happiest Baby on the Block instructor. She has been specializing in Sleep Training for the last 8 years, especially with multiplies. Her passion is educating new parents and giving them the tools and confidence they need to truly enjoy their babies. She has 2 children of her own and one grandchild.
Pat Porrey is the Co-Founder of Sweet Dreams Infant Care. Her team at Sweet Dreams has been “rescuing sleep deprived families since 2009!” Pat has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Science and her Masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. One of her passions is making a difference in new parents lives by sharing her knowledge and experience as a DONA Certified Postpartum Doula and certified Infant Care Specialist. For the past 8 years Pat has concentrated on teaching healthy sleep habits and providing postpartum education and support. Pat has two sons and two grandchildren.
Dr. Ankita Shah graduated from the University of Pittsburg School of Dental Medicine and has since worked in New York City and Chicago with years of experience. She has provided dental care to numerous prenatal and natal women and their infants while working at Erie Family Health Center in Chicago. Her office in the West loop is a family dental practice where she enjoys taking care of the dental needs of children and adults of all ages with a special focus on prevention.
The staff at Chicago CPR is comprised of firefighters,
paramedics and nurses who have decades of real world experience working with families. They offer classes that are fun and streamlined, using the best training equipment on the market. Chicago CPR is certified by the American Heart Association.
